Why I Started my soap business and how did I pick the name!

Thought I would give you a little information about how Figjam Soaps got started.  

I actually found the name of Figjam and just loved it as it made me laugh ..if you know what it stands for then you'll agree its a giggle but if you don't then let me tell you.

Its a word that was was used to describe someone that thinks they are really good....so its:

F ( its a word that starts with F & ends with K but isn't fork !!) I'm Good Just Ask Me.

So once I heard that I just had to register that name and then I had been toying with the idea of making soap and felt that was a great name for my soaps.

I wanted to try making soaps so started with easy stuff like Melt and Pour, which is you buy they soap already formulated but you colour it and fragrance it. 

I did this and just loved how they turned out, so then decided to do a course in Cold Process Soap making so I knew what and how to get that right.  I did a course here in Ravenhall with a very experienced soap maker Katherine and I was hooked.

I absolutely just love making my soaps and seeing people come back and buy more is very gratifying.
